Nathan King joined the RCU in 2022 as a curriculum project manager. In his role, King collaborates with educators and subject-matter experts to develop and revise curricula in STEM pathways. He has years of experience in the furniture/sawmill industry, where he worked as a data analyst, a CNC machine programmer, and an AutoCAD research and development manager. He has 19 years of teaching experience in secondary education, including all levels of mathematics, engineering, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). He taught nine years in the Starkville Oktibbeha School District and was one of three teachers in the state on the curriculum writing team for the UAS pathway. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics from Mississippi State University.
