Avery Hollis
Avery Hollis joined the RCU in 2021 as a project manager responsible for developing online high school courses on Canvas through the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund. In this role, she used her experience to design courses for secondary educators statewide. She has since joined the assessment team and is the work-based learning specialist. Before joining the RCU, Hollis taught biology, anatomy and physiology, and physical science for six years in the Monroe County and Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated school districts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business and clinical exercise physiology and master's degree in teacher leadership from Mississippi State University.
